Chih-Yuan Kuo (1921 – 2013) was a native of Yuanli Township in Miaoli County, Taiwan. He was a Taiwanese composer known for his diverse and extensive range of creative works encompassing various genres and styles, including orchestral works, operas, chamber music, concertos, piano pieces, choral compositions, art songs, and even children’s and pop music.
