Program Note
My professor suggested me to write a set of short pieces, which translate the four primary emotions into music: happiness, anxiety, sadness, and peacefulness. The four feelings, and thus the music itself, are quite abstract. To let the listeners absorb the different characteristics of each emotion, I have portrayed them separately in four short movements: I. Happiness, II. Anxiety, III. Sadness, and IV. Peacefulness.
