Program Note

A lake often gives me a sense of peacefulness. Its beauty and mystery fascinate me. This piece is inspired by my perception of water, lake views and the unknown. I attempt to bring to life, through music, an imaginary lake that exists in my mind.

This piece consists of three movements. The first movement explores the mystery of the bottom of the lake, the danger of the unknown, and negative feelings such as anger, despair, and helplessness. These emotions are expressed by sonorities of low register, alternations of the piano pedal and colors of diverse chords. The next movement has two motives: the continuous sounds introduced by plucking on the strings followed by fragment-like intervals or passages with repetitive notes. Introspection and thoughtfulness permeate this movement. Both the motives grow up step by step. With an introduction, the last movement consists mainly of two Western traditional dances, Gigue and Marzuka. Dramatic, accidental and humorous elements are brought out. Musically preserving the momentum, these elements also give the pianist an opportunity to display their skills.

樂曲解說

湖泊，時常給予我寂靜與安詳的感覺，優美的湖光水色亦令人賞心悅目。
鋼琴獨奏曲《湖邊印象》以我對「湖泊景緻」的直觀印象、情感和聯想，試圖
表現幾度徘徊腦海中那座未曾真正造訪卻又如此真實地浮現眼簾的湖。自湖底
情景、水紋的波動、湖面上的反光與折射，以及連同周遭環境所產生之特殊倒
影等，隱隱約約之際似乎透出一種神祕，對於湖泊所瀰漫的未知氣息伴隨相關
的傳說故事也就成為誘發靈感的來源。

本作品由三樂章所組成：第一樂章探尋潛藏湖底的神秘、未知與危險，帶
有憤怒、絕望和無助等負面思緒，在樂曲中以鋼琴之踏板變換與低音聲響來表
現。第二樂章以迴繞方式呈現兩種主要動機，由滑奏鋼琴內部琴絃引出高音點
狀聲響，隨後靜謐緩慢的和絃出現，如此進行模式持續佔據樂章的多數段落，
挾帶內省和沉思的性格。第三樂章首先以導奏作為與前述第二樂章的橋梁，隨
後進入本樂章之主要部分並引用如吉格舞曲(Gigue)和馬祖卡舞曲(Mazurka)等
西方傳統舞曲風格作為織體和材料並融入樂曲中，帶來諸多戲劇變化、意外性
和詼諧感。此外，在保持音樂動能的情況下，給予鋼琴演奏者展技的可能。

湖畔の印象

湖は沈黙と平和のイメージに結びつく。その美しい光景は、私が最も惹かれるものである。この作品では、自分が思う湖、想像を音楽にした。今まで行ったことのない湖を描こうとした。この湖は私を懐かしい気持ちにさせるような夢で満たされている。この作品は、3楽章すべてを弾かなくても違和感のないほど、それぞれが異なる3 楽章からなる。最初の楽章は神秘的で危険、未知の不安や恐れを、2 楽章は内観的な雰囲気の穏やかなノクターン、最終楽章は、ニつの伝統的なダンス、ジ一グとマズルカでできている。持続するエネルギーとカ強さが強烈な事件とドラマを引き起こす。
